About me

Giulia Villanucci holds a BA in Communications from John Cabot University and a MSc in Digital Society from the University of Edinburgh. Coming from a background in Communications and Media Studies, her areas of academic interest are attention structures, ethical internet practices, and internet consumer advocacy. Her research has explored how the Internet and society affect each other through infrastructure mediation, and parasocial relationships between fans and celebrities.

She currently works as a Market research and insight assistant and independent researcher, which allowed her to develop strong analytical skills, as well as qualitative and mixed research methods.

Eager and quick to learn new things, she enjoys working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to achieve common goals.
